Community Foundation Sponsor:
The purpose of the foundation is to generate resources to support programs and projects. The foundation will supplement, assist and aid the communities in their pursuit of excellence through funding of programs identified by residents and community advisory groups.
Projects Supported: Bennett Harvest Festival, Strasburg Parade, Historical Society, Monthly ARTS & Concert Series. Seven Scholarships have been given out. Grants for Victims Assistance, etc.

SHARE Program buy a monthly food package at below wholesale prices in exchange for volunteering a small amount of time to the community. SHARES food distribution days are the fourth Saturday each month, except in November and December.

Special Transit provides bus service from Deer Trail, Byers, Strasburg, Bennett & Watkins area to the Denver Metro Area on Tuesday and Fridays.
Cost is $8.00 Round Trip. Contact Bennett Town Hall at least one day in advance and please schedule your appointments around 10:00 a.m. and not after 1:00 p.m.
